THE PHOTO-TO-SLIDE GUIDE

A folder full of photos.
A story waiting.

Start with the pictures you want to share. Give them a little structure. Then bring them into your presentation.

PhotoToDeck is in prelaunch testing. This guide describes the planned public workflow; installation instructions and real app screenshots will be finalized with the release.

1. Gather your JPEGs and PNGs.

Choose the photos from your device. PhotoToDeck supports JPEG and PNG files, with up to 100 photos per import. Divide larger projects into batches and check each batch before continuing.

2. Choose the sequence.

Decide what viewers need to see first. Put related photos together and remove near-duplicates. The goal is a sequence that makes sense without an explanation for every transition.

3. Choose the frame.

Fit keeps the entire photograph visible. Fill covers the slide and may crop the edges. Portrait pictures make this difference particularly clear.

4. Review, then import.

In the add-on, connect the intended presentation, select your files, review their order and layout, and import. The result is one photo per slide. Check the import results before retrying an interrupted job.

5. Add your finishing touches.

Continue in Google Slides to add your own titles, captions and other presentation elements. PhotoToDeck handles getting the photos into the deck.
